Geography
Despite its small size, Israel is divided into four geographic regions: the Mediterranean coastal plain, the Central Hills, the Great Rift Valley, and the Negev Desert. The four main geographical regions of the Land of the Bible have a great regional variation for the small land of Israel.
Culture
Israel is the birthplace of Jewish culture which encompasses the foundations of many Jewish characteristics, including philosophy, literature, poetry, art, mythology, folklore, mysticism and festivals; as well as Judaism, which was also fundamental to the creation of Christianity, Islam and others.
